Tears of the Kingdom takes place an undisclosed number of years after the events of Breath of the Wild. Link and Zelda are investigating a strange miasma plaguing the kingdom. They venture into the depths under the castle, and find a series of ancient murals depicting great battles and events from Hyrule’s past.
